Radiohead dedicate ‘OK Computer’ reissue to Thom Yorke’s late partner Rachel

Radiohead, set to release the reissue of iconic album OK Computer to celebrate the 20th anniversary, have dedicated the record to Thom Yorke’s late ex-partner Rachel.

For 23 years, Yorke was in a relationship with artist Rachel Owen, whom it is believed he married in a secret ceremony in May 2003. The pair had two children together during their time together until announcing they had separated amicably “after 23 highly creative and happy years”.

Tragically, Rachel died of cancer in December last year, aged 48.

One fan who has got their hands on the reissue, titled OKNOTOK, has revealed a moving dedication to Yorke’s ex-partner on the album sleeve, it reads:

“This re-issue is dedicated to the memory of Dr. Rachel Owen 1968-2016 who died after a long and brave battle with cancer,” it reads on the back. “We hope you are ok. Thank you for listening.”
