R Kelly accuser provides further details in new interview
Sadly another woman has come forward with an allegation of sexual coercion and physical abuse against R’n’B star R Kelly. Kitti Jones has done so in an interview with Rolling Stone where she describes her relationship with kelly between 2011-2013.
The Dallas radio DJ has claimed that kelly physically abused her on multiple occasions (10, in fact), in addition to forcing her to have sex with other women, controlling with whom she interacted and withhold food if she dare disobey him. In one particularly graphic instance, Jones claims that Kelly “kicked her multiple times and delivered a series of open-handed slaps to her face,” as described by writer Jason Newman
Jones was one of the women to speak with BuzzFeed reported Jim DeRoghatis when he alleged of further criminal acts carried out by Kelly, who, he said, had demonstrated the workings of a “cult”. This is further backed by this interview with Jones claiming she had to ask to go to the bathroom or shower and was forced to wear baggy clothes in public, which all align with past allegations.
In response to Kitti Jones’ latest allegations, a representative for R. Kelly sent the following statement to Rolling Stone:
“Mr. Kelly is aware of the repeated and now evolving claims of [Ms. Jones]. It is unfortunate that Ms. Jones, after public statements to the contrary, is now attempting to portray a relationship history with Mr. Kelly as anything other than consensual involvement between two adults. As stated previously, Mr. Kelly does not control the decision-making or force the actions of any other human being, including Ms. Jones, by her own admission. Any claim of wrongdoing of any kind or of mistreatment of any woman by him is false, ill-motived and defamatory.”
