After announcing earlier in the month that they planned to follow up their debut LP with brand new album ‘Street Safari’, Public Access TV have now shared the video for new track ‘MetroTech’, and it’s a naturally funky affair.
The track is, as expected, filled with hum and bounce of a streetlight lit stumble home, it centres around this idea of a “night walk”, where the city turns from the worker bee hive to something run by a cool and cruel Queen Bee with a sting in her tail.
Speaking of the video the band said “Max (bassist from PATV) met Kevin randomly while day-drinking alone at some dive bar. Kevin was there by himself as well and eventually they started talking and spent the rest of the day hanging at this bar. Max then “night walked” home and the next day when he told John the story, the video idea and everything was created”.
So as well as a pretty awesome video and new album, the band also announced a string of dates in the new year, and trust us, it is well worth the ticket price to see this band groove their way across any stage.
