Protomartyr shares new single ‘Dope Cloud’ and announces new London show

Protomartyr have shared ‘Dope Cloud’ a new song from their full-length record The Agent Intellect set to be released via Hardly Art in October.

‘Dope Cloud’, Far Out’s Track of the Day, is a single described ‘as close as the band as ever come to a ‘radio single,” focuses heavily for the first significant time on the poignancy of Joe Casey’s lyrics, etching the mental images of a ‘saltmine racist gang’ and a ‘pizza king’.

The band recently played the Pitchfork Music Festival, and you can watch footage from their performance below, which includes a performance of another new song off The Agent Intellect called “Cowards Starve.”

Protomartyr have also just announced a London headline show at the Victoria on 2nd November, in addition to their previously confirmed dates with METZ
