Primus announce new UK and European tour

Primus have announced that they will be embarking on a UK and European tour later this year.

The band took to their social media to announce the tour, sharing with fans the list of headline shows and festival dates in the diary for later this year.

Primus will kick things off on July 31st in Milan, Italy, and will continue trekking around the continent, through to Ljubljana, Warsaw, Jaromer, and Kortrijk.

On August 10th, the band will land in Frankfurt for a show at Batschkapp, before playing at Carlswerk Victoria in Cologne the following day.

After appearances at Motocultor Festival and Dynamo Metalfest, Primus will make their way to British soil for a show at Manchester Academy on August 17th. The following day, they’ll head up to Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom.

The summer tour will finish with a show in London’s O2 Forum Kentish Town and, on August 21st, an headline appearance in Bristol at ArcTanGent Festival.

The tour follows on from Les Claypool’s ‘Claypool Gold’ tour, which will see him trek across 25 US cities with The Claypool Lennon Delirium and Les Claypool’s Fearless Flying Frog Brigade, and Primus.

The make-up of the band will feature their new drummer, John Hoffman, after longtime drummer Tim Alexander surprise left the band in 2024. They held auditions to replace the musician. Hoffman made his tour debut during the Sessanta tour last year, where Primus joined Puscifer and A Perfect Circle.
