Primal Scream’s Bobby Gillespie duets with Nick Cave at the O2

The O2 Arena in London were wooed by Nick Cave and The Bad Seeds last night with a spectacular set as the Skeleton Tree tour arrived in town and  the crowd were even treated to a surprise duet.

The Australian, who recently celebrated his 60th birthday, has been taking his latest album on tour around the UK visiting Bourneouth, Manchester, Nottingham and Glasgow before concluding at the O2 on Saturday night.

The singer was taking a walk around the 20,000 capacity arena when he stumbled across Primal Scream front-man Bobby Gillespie and screamed “Bobby Gillesbie, Fuck!’. The pair then shared a hug before he handed the Scotsman the mic for the chorus of set closer ‘Push The Sky Away’.
