Preoccupations announce new album with lead single ‘Espionage’

Preoccupations, the post-punk band formerly known as Viet Cong, have announced plans to release the follow-up to their 2016 self-titled album.

The new record entitled, New Material, will be available March 23rd and is accompanied by the lead single ‘Espionage’.

The band’s frontman Matt Flegel described their new music as “an ode to depression” before adding “to depression and self-sabotage,” he said in a statement, “and looking inward at yourself with extreme hatred.”

The band have also announced a huge tour which will begin shortly after the release, find the dates below.
