Premiere: ‘SX1000’ – The Lucid Dream

We’ve been long time fans of The Lucid Dream, the band have been at the forefront of innovation and industralisation of the scene for a while now and are finally back with their 4th studio album, and have been kind enough to give us the first spin of it’s lead single ‘SX1000’. The single will be released on April 6th via Holy Are You Recordings.

Bouncing back from a burglary in Paris 2017, which could’ve easily derailed many bands, they return with some pure acid house dripping full of the kind of face melting genius that sets them apart from any ‘scene’ or ‘genre’.

Driven by the support of their fans, who clubbed together to replace £10,000 worth of kit, The Lucid Dream took this vote of confidence and ran with it straight in to their 4th studio album, following 2016’s Compulsion Songs.

The new track has direct influence form early 90’s acid house, from Chicago to the UK, it reeks of nights out, it reeks of sweat, it reeks of a dancefloor filler. Expect more of the same on the album.

We can’t fucking wait for the vinyl release of ‘SX1000’. And if you can’t wait, then pre-order the 12″ here.

There will be two headline gigs to celebrate the release.

05/04 The Victoria, London

06/04 Band on the Wall, Manchester
