A combination of Easy Actions Records and Popular Favourites have given us one hell of a record to sink your teeth in to. The band are Galants and they are not afraid to show their own nashers on their new single ‘Evergreen’ from the self-titled EP. Get the premiere here.
A post-punk tinge filters through every note of this release, it feels gritty and thoughtful, a welcomed combination. Its genre-spanning and influence-spanning sound is somewhat of an enigma, feeling incredibly familiar but also as fresh as a fucking daisy smothered in fabric conditioner.
The Dublin band are sailing a boat of difference in this sea of rather same-y sounding bands, with the new EP coming out via Easy Action and Zen Ten records, the hype surrounding these guys is definitely worth buying in to.
