Phoebe Bridgers announces American 'Punisher' tour

Phoebe Bridgers has announced an American tour in support of her 2020 album Punisher.

It’s strange to think that an album as successful as Punisher didn’t have an accompanying tour behind it, but then you remember that it came out in the middle of the pandemic (the album celebrates its first anniversary on Saturday) and it all starts to rush back to you.

The new tour, sardonically dubbed the ‘Reunion Tour’, will see Bridgers trek through the entire country, including some Middle America dates in Minneapolis, Wisconsin, and Indiana, swing all the way down to Alabama, perform at festivals like Firefly, Governors Ball, Austin City Limits, and the Shaky Knees Festival in Atlanta, and finally finish up in my home town of Washington D.C. at The Anthem.

American electropop band Muna will be opening a select number of shows in September, and one dollar from every ticket sold will be donated to RAINN, America’s largest anti-sexual violence organisation. More information can be found at, and also I just wanted an excuse to type out that URL.

Tickets for the non-festival shows go on sale on July 16. Bridgers is utilising the Ticketmaster Verified Fan program to try and get more tickets in the hands of fans and out of the direct reach of scalpers. Ticketmaster is still an evil shill of a corporation who actively tries to make it more difficult for fans to pay reasonable prices for concert tickets, including frequently bypassing their own Verified Fan program by directly placing tickets on the secondary market and then putting the blame on artists, but until we free ourselves from the shackles of this capitalist hellscape, this is probably still the best way to get tickets to fans.

Bridgers’ ‘Reunion Tour’ kicks off in St. Louis on September 3. Check out the full list of dates down below.
