Pet Shop Boys announce intimate run of London shows in 2026
The Pet Shop Boys have announced a run of intimate gigs in London next year, billed as performances in which they will only play their most obscure deep cuts.
The duo are set to put on five nights at the Electric Ballroom in London in April 2026, celebrating the 40th anniversary of their seminal debut album Please in 1986. However, in contrast to their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live tour, the band have committed to only playing non-single album tracks and B-sides from over the course of their career.
For fans of the pioneering double act, it means there will be the chance to hear many songs which have never been performed live before, marking a seminal moment in looking back over the scores of their seismic back catalogue of music through the decades.
Speaking of the gigs, Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant both said: “We are very excited at the prospect of going deeper into our song catalogue in these shows and giving album tracks, B-sides and fan favourites a chance to be heard live.”
The dates at the Electric Ballroom, set to take place over the span of April 6th to April 10th, 2026, are set to be an intimate occasion. However, ticket details have yet to be revealed, with all information being made available via the band’s website on November 12th.
It has been confirmed that the show on April 8th will be specially performed in aid of the charity War Child, reflected in the band’s website currently displaying the colours of the Ukrainian flag.
On top of their upcoming dates in London, the Pet Shop Boys are also set to continue with their Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits tour throughout 2026, performing three dates in Japan in January before returning to the UK for Lytham Festival on July 4th.
