Perfume Genius shares new track ‘Slip Away’ and announces new LP ‘No Shape’
Since 2014’s storming release Too Bright Perfume Genius has been busy teasing us with all manner of leaks and hints at the next LP and track to come from Mike Hadreas. Well now we can finnaly confirm the new album will be out on May 5th via Matador Records and will be called No Shape.
The album is preceded by the brilliant new track ‘Slip Away’, which you can watch the video for below. The song is dream-pop with an edge and shows off Perfume Genius at his best. 3 minutes of distorted and contorted beats are layered with Hadreas’ touching vocal.
