Paul McCartney to play last-minute intimate New York show

Paul McCartney has announced details of a last-minute show in New York at the Bowery Ballroom on February 11th, 2025.

In a statement, the venue revealed that doors would open at 5:00pm local time ahead of the concert getting underway at 6:30pm. Tickets were made exclusively available at the Bowery Ballroom’s box office rather than online and unexpectedly sold-out within minutes of the announcement.

The Bowery Ballroom shared: “Tickets on sale now only at Bowery Ballroom box office. No tickets sold online. First come, first served. One ticket per person. Avoid purchasing tickets from third-party vendors. Fake tickets will not be honored and entry will be denied.”

They also warned fans from falling for fake tickets, adding, “Tickets for this event are PHYSICAL only. If someone sends you a digital ticket, it is a fake. Signs of a fake physical ticket include spelling mistakes, missing a Ticketmaster logo or watermark, or coloring that is not blue and white.”

The Manhattan venue continued: “More than 1 ticket – individuals were only able to purchase 1 ticket. Be wary of anyone offering more than 1.”

McCartney has a history of playing intimate venues in New York around Valentine’s Day, having previously performed a similar show at Irving Plaza, 1,200 capacity, on February 14th, 2015. However, the Bowery Ballroom is even smaller and only has a capacity of 575.

Notably, the last time McCartney played in the New York district was at the MetLife Stadium in 2022, which was attended by more than 80,000, and saw him share the stage with Bruce Springsteen.

2025 has already been a year to remember for McCartney. Earlier this month, The Beatles won the Grammy in the ‘Best Rock Performance‘ category for their farewell track, ‘Now and Then’, which previously topped the UK charts in 2023.
