Paul McCartney announces first UK live shows in three years


Paul McCartney his first string of UK tour dates in three years.

The shows will be in support of his upcoming album Egypt Station and part of his vast tour titled ‘Freshen Up’.

Having already announced his shows in Canada which will take place in September, the former Beatle will first play shows at Liverpool, Glasgow and London in December. 

“There’s nothing like performing in front of your home crowd, especially when it’s been a while,” McCartney said.

“I can’t wait to finish the year on such a high by partying in Liverpool, Glasgow and London.  We’ve freshened up the show since our last time around and we are excited to get to play some of our new songs alongside some of the favourites.”

12 December – Echo Arena, Liverpool – Tickets.
14 December – SSE Hydro, Glasgow – Tickets.
16 December – The O2, London – Tickets.
