Parquet Courts singer A. Savage releases new solo material
Parquet Courts frontman Andrew Savage has announced his debut solo album as A. Savage entitled, Thawing Dawn.
The first offering from the project, ‘Winter in the South’ has been released today and will fall on the new LP which will be released via Dull Tools in October.
“Once I realized I had a small body of work that didn’t fit anywhere else, I started to examine the commonalities: What’s the common denominator of all this and how I can expand on it?” Savage says of the new project.
Savage has enlisted the help of some friends to contribute to the record, with members of Woods, Ultimate Painting, PC Worship, EZTV, and Psychic TV all making an appearance.
