Parquet Courts share new video for ‘Freebird II’

Parquet Courts add another visual to their brilliant back catalogue with this brand new video for their track ‘Freebird II’ taken from their brilliant new album Wide Awake. The Brooklyn boys do it again.

The video was directed by none other than Claes Nordwall who was also at the helm for their video ‘Berlin Got Blurry’. It’s a clip that sees the band drink champagne in odd masks, and generally perform as if they’re in a bad Terry Richardson shoot.

The video follows the announcement that the band will be releasing a remix EP of Wide Awake as early as September as they prepare for a huge worldwide tour. We’ve popped the European dates down below the video for your ease.

If you haven’t seen Parquet Courts before then now’s the time, they’re quite simply sensational. But for now, take a look at the brand new visuals.
