Parquet Courts release new video for ‘Mardi Gras Beads’

Parquet courts have shared the brilliant new video for their track ‘Mardi Gras Beads’, and far from what the name might suggest, it’s a black and white affair set to a slow meandering wander.

Austin Brown and co are soon (next week) to be releasing their new album Wide Awake, and with every passing day we get a little giddier, but today that pre-school behaviour is warranted as they share the new video for the newly released track.

The video is a slow affair however, moving more towards the art-school simplicity of letting the music do the work whilst offering a juxtaposition to the title of the song (much like the music does), we see Austin Brown slowly walk the streets of New Orleans without the colour of the festival in his way.
