Parklife 2019 might have already sold out of weekend tickets, and it’s no surprise given its incredible line-up this year. If you’re still trying to decide which acts to go and see this year, we’ve put together a list of our top five not to be missed…

Cardi B

From a surprise guest appearance during DJ Snake’s set at Coachella with Selena Gomez, to the stark contrast of the fields of Manchester, Global superstar and successful female rapper, Cardi B, is headlining Parklife festival amongst her small handful of UK dates. Not making many UK appearances, make the most of this opportunity whilst you can!

Loyle Carner

Croydon born and raised, Benjamin Coyle Larner, better know as Loyle Carner (his name is a Spoonerism), earned a Mercury Prize nomination for his 2017 debut album, ‘Yesterday’s Gone’. With instantly recognisable vocals, Carner lends himself to smooth beats and tones and is a talent that is like no other.

Peggy Gou

She’s all everyone is talking about in the dance and electronic scene at the moment, so you’d be daft to miss out on catching rising star, Peggy Gou’s, set at Parklife. The Korean- born female DJ threw herself into full-time whilst studying a fashion degree in London, which she then abandoned. Moving back to Berlin. She went on to support Moodymann, The Black Madonna, and DJ Koze, and her musical career spiraled from there.

Mark Ronson

If it’s not for his work on Amy Winehouse’s ‘Valerie’ that we know Mark Ronson for, perhaps it’s his work on ‘Uptown Funk’ with Bruno Mars, or on Lily Allen’s ‘Oh My God’? Non the less, Mark Ronson is a British musical genius and icon; you’d be damn sorry to miss out on a boogie in the park to the soundtrack of the 00’s and 10’s.

Steflon Don

Best known for her appearance on ‘Hurtin’ Me’ with French Montana, which hit number 7 in the UK charts, Stelfon Don was born in Birmingham, raised in the Netherlands and grew up in London. Real name, Stephanie Allen, the dancehall inspired rapper is sure to get the crowd going during her Parklife appearance.
