Pamela Anderson wants Seth Rogen to apologise for his role in ‘Pam and Tommy’

Pamela Anderson has stated that she wants Seth Rogen to apologise for his role in the 2022 series, Pam and Tommy.

The Hulu series starred Lily James as Anderson and Sebastian Stan as Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee, who were a married couple between 1995 and 1998.

The series primarily focused on the events surrounding the couple’s sex tape leaking in 1995, which is a source of trauma for Anderson, who did not consent to Pam and Tommy being made.

In Pam and Tommy, Rogen plays Rand Gauthier, an electrician who stole the tape as an act of revenge after Lee refused to pay him for work carried out on the Malibu property.

Now, in a new interview on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, Anderson reflected on being in the same room as Rogen when she presented a Golden Globe last week, saying of the ceremony, “At the Golden Globes, for instance, I didn’t leave early. I left after my award, and I went right to bed.”

“Seth Rogen, he did that [miniseries] on me without talking to me, Pam & Tommy,” she added, before stating of the show, “How can someone make a TV series out of difficult times in your life? And I’m a living, breathing human being over here, hello.”

Anderson went on to say he “was in the pit at the Golden Globes, so we were close”, and explained of her emotions at the time, “I just felt like, ‘I’m not chopped liver over here.’ I felt a little bit weird about it.”

While she is keeping her mind busy with acting work, Anderson admitted that the series remains painful, explaining,” I’ve been so busy working, I’ve done five movies in the last year. So, I’ve just been busy. But sometimes it hits you and you feel kinda down.”

On Rogen, she added, “It just felt a little yucky. Eventually, hopefully he will reach out to me and apologise. Not that that matters.”

She also expressed her belief that the “darkest, deepest secrets or your tragedies in life shouldn’t be fair game for a TV series” and said “that pissed me off a little bit”.
