Ozzy Osbourne’s estate mocks Roger Waters with brutal new merchandise
The estate of Ozzy Osbourne has escalated their feud with Roger Waters by releasing a new line of merchandising.
After Waters made a disparaging set of comments about Osbourne just weeks after his passing in July, the Osbourne family have fired back with many shots of their own.
The latest is a t-shirt, unveiled earlier this week and only made available for only 48 hours, which reads in Pink Floyd’s font, ‘Another Prick In The Wall’, in reference to their classic track, ‘Another Brick in the Wall, Part 2’. Osbourne also appears to be urinating a rainbow on to the cover art.
Meanwhile, on the front of the shirt is an album cover for The Wall that has been graffitied with ‘Ozzy Rules’.
The item description on Osbourne’s website simply reads, “Well… Ozzy RULES, and that’s all we have to say.”
The feud began weeks after the Black Sabbath star’s death when Waters made a series of unfavourable comments about Osbourne, which upset his family greatly.
He shared: “Ozzy Osbourne, who just died, bless him in his whatever that state that he was in his whole life. We’ll never know. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck.”
Waters then turned his attention to Ozzy’s reality show with his family, The Osbournes, stating, “Although he was all over the TV for hundreds of years, with his idiocy and nonsense. The music, I have no idea. I couldn’t give a fuck.”
Lastly, he attacked Black Sabbath, adding, “I don’t care about Black Sabbath, I never did. I have no interest in biting the heads of chickens or whatever they do. I couldn’t care less, you know.”
In response, Jack Osbourne wrote on social media, “Hey Roger Waters fuck you. How pathetic and out of touch you’ve become. The only way you seem to get attention these days is by vomiting out bullshit in the press. My father always thought you were a cunt — thanks for proving him right.”
Additionally, shortly before Jack entered the jungle in November, he addressed the matter with his mother, Sharon, and sister, Kelly, on their family podcast.
During the episode, Sharon said Waters is “probably one of the most sick individuals I’ve come across in years”, meanwhile, Kelly bluntly said he was a “fucking cunt”.
Sharon then delivered the final blow, saying of Waters, “A sad, irrelevant, old, miserable human being – a miserable ugly human being.”
Waters has not addressed the backlash from the Osbourne family or yet retaliated with his own line of merchandise.
