America has a vaccination problem. Even though multiple brands have been approved for mass distribution, less than 50 per cent of Americans are fully vaccinated, well short of President Joe Biden’s stated goal of 70 per cent by July 4. So it’s time to bring out the big guns: High School Musical: The Musical: The Series star turned global pop star, Olivia Rodrigo.
The ‘Good 4 U’ singer is set to meet with President Biden and Dr. Anthony Fauci, chief of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and a key member of both Donald Trump and Joe Biden’s coronavirus task force, to record PSA videos encouraging younger Americans to get vaccinated.
Biden’s social media team is making a strong push to boost the country’s plateauing vaccination rates by turning their attention to the younger generation. Fauci recently appeared on a number of wholesome TikTok videos spreading the word and educating these darn kids who spend all day on their phones! Through the official POTUS Instagram account, Biden shared a much younger picture of himself with the caption: “I know this young person would’ve gotten vaccinated, but we’ve got to get other young people protected as well. Who’s willing to help?”
It was to that post that Rodrigo responded: “I’m in! See you tomorrow at the White House!” CNN later confirmed Rodrigo’s involvement in the new Biden campaign.
The educational videos are just one more step in Rodrigo’s quest for complete domination. Today, it’s PSA’s, but what happens when she returns to Washington as Senator Rodrigo, and then President Rodrigo? We’ll all be singing ‘driver’s license’ instead of the national anthem. Is that the future you want, Zoomers? Actually, considering how difficult it is to sing ‘The Star Spangled Banner’, it might be an upgrade to sing-cry some of the songs from Sour at sporting events instead.
