London band Oh Wonder have unleashed their brand new video today alongside news on their upcoming album Ultralife.
‘Heavy’ launches today with a fascinating new video, recorded on set in London with photographer Josh Shinner. The video painstakingly stitches together 2665 individual photographs to create the allusion of the British duo dancing within a makeshift colour cube
Heavy is the fourth track to be previewed from Ultralife, released on the 14th July 2017 through Island Records, and follows current single ‘Ultralife’, ‘Lifetimes’, and ‘My Friends’. The band have just headed back to the US, for their second run of live dates in as many months, having bookended their previous dates with two standout performances at Coachella. Following the album’s release, they will perform at the Reading and Leeds Festival in late August, interspersed with a handful of European festival slots. Details of a UK tour in the Autumn will be announced imminently.
Ultralife is both Oh Wonder’s extraordinary second album and their debut proper. Its eponymously-titled predecessor, released in late 2015, was a collection of songs they had posted online at the rate of one a month, which millions of listeners fell in love with, turning London-based Josephine Vander Gucht and Anthony West into reluctant pop stars.
