Oasis has unveiled a new lyric video for ‘She’s Electric’.
The release comes as part of the 23rd anniversary celebrations of the band’s second studio album ‘(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?’, the album which held the track.
The record, which was Oasis’ most commercially successful release, sold a record-breaking 347,000 copies in its first week on sale and spent 10 weeks at number one. Adding a bit of psychedelia to the new lyrical video, the band shared this clip:
The band haven’t played a live show together since their split in 2009, just months before Noel revealed he had left the band: “It is with some sadness and great relief…I quit Oasis tonight,” Noel said when announcing the news.
“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer,” he added.
Now, it has been confirmed that band have an opportunity to make a comeback with a huge show at Dublin’s Slane Castle.
Irish promoters MCD, who represent both brothers, confirmed that they have an offer on the table. “We promote Liam, and we promote Noel. Liam has always said someday they will [reform]”, MCD boss Denis Desmond told Extra.IE. “They’ve played Slane with R.E.M., there’s always an offer on the table, and they know it. It goes up every week. And they know that as well,” he added.
