Nadine Shah recently announced Holiday Destination—a compelling third album out on 1965 Records—which sees her stepping out of the shadow of the complicated relationships she examined on her second album Fast Food.
Now, Shah has shared the new video for latest single ‘Out The Way’, edited, directed and produced by handheldcineclub.
“The video is a response to this current global rise in nationalism, this awful rhetoric of us and them,” Nadine said of the video.
“I wanted the image to shock the viewer to highlight the brutality we are seeing happen. This is why we use the Salem witch trials as a reference in the video, to me that’s how it feels but with certain pockets of faiths being targeted.”
