MTV launch ‘Unplugged at Home’ with Wyclef Jean singing some classics

MTV has moved to help those in self-isolation because of the coronavirus pandemic keep entertained as it announced the launch of its new series ‘Unplugged at Home’.

The network has reiterated the importance of staying indoors with the first instalment of their new series. The show ‘Unplugged at Home’ launched yesterday with Wyclef Jean.

The show is a play on the classic series ‘MTV Unplugged’ which saw artists like Nirvana and Pearl Jam before stripped back versions of their most treasured songs. The new series follows much the same pattern but this time in the houses of the artists.

First up was Fugee and pop legend, Wyclef Jean who treats everyone to a performance filled with good cheer, a bouncing vibe, and some classic tracks including ‘Gone Till November’ and ‘Hips Don’t Lie’.

We wouldn’t like to comment on whether or not Wyclef Jean is a little too relaxed on the clip but what we will say is that it is bound to brighten your day.

Watch Wyclef Jean sing some classics from the comfort of his own home and add a little bit of sunshine into your day.
