The annual Swiss event, set to take place on the Lake Geneva shoreline from July 3rd to July 18th, is celebrating its 60th year in 2026, and plans to do so in style.

The first night will see Raye perform along with special guests, to be announced at a later date, as part of a curated evening of music.

Then, on July 4th, Sting will perform on a bill with Portuguese singer-songwriter Maro at the Auditorium Stravinski, while Dove Ellis and Angus & Julia Stone will take to the stage at Montreux Jazz Lab.

July 5th will see Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds and Aldous Harding perform. Other alluring double-bills across the festival include The Isley Brothers and The Roots on July 11th, as well as Van Morrison and James Taylor, who will close Montreux Jazz on July 18th.

Deep Purple, who were inspired to write ‘Smoke on the Water’ by the Swiss city, will also be returning to Montreux on July 13th, performing on a bill with Rival Sons.

The bill also includes PinkPantheress, Tyla, Lewis Capaldi, John Legend, Marcus Miller, Paris Paloma, Loyle Carner, Moby, Conan Gray, Sienna Spiro, Dermot Kennedy, Joy Crookes, Lewis Capaldi and Zara Larsson.

In a nod to the first-ever Montreux Jazz, Charles Lloyd will be returning to Switzerland for this year’s festival, where he appeared at the inaugural event in 1967.

Far Out was on the ground in 2025 in Montreux, writing of Pulp’s performance, “There is nothing common about watching a gig on Lake Geneva; the beauty of it is the furthest from common you could ever possibly get, and yet the disconnect between the setting and the music’s theme isn’t so overpowering that you zone out of the gig. Pulp still manages to draw you in, and the crowd get just as rowdy as anywhere in the world, millionaires and all.”
