MJ Lenderman pulls out of Zach Bryan stadium tour: “I need time to rest”

MJ Lenderman has withdrawn from his upcoming stadium shows with Zach Bryan in North America.

Bryan, who is currently on the European leg of With Heaven On Tour, was set to play numerous dates with Lenderman between late July and September.

Lenderman was due to play two shows at the SnapDragon Stadium in San Diego with Bryan, as well as dates in Denver, Salt Lake City, Arlington and Glendale.

However, he’s now taken to Instagram Stories to confirm his withdrawal from the appearances, writing on social media, “MJ Lenderman and the Wind are no longer able to join Zach Bryan on tour next month.”

The message continued, “After years on the road, I need time to rest, recalibrate and work on new songs.”

Lenderman also showed his appreciation to Bryan for inviting him on the road, adding, “Thank you to Zach for the invitation — we’ll see you all another time.”

The singer-songwriter’s last album, Manning Fireworks, arrived in 2024, which he subsequently toured extensively, and in 2025, Lenderman stopped performing live with Wednesday due to scheduling commitments, although he vowed to continue recording with the band.

Bryan has not yet announced a replacement for Lenderman, but his other special guests on the North American leg of the tour include Kings of Leon, Dijon, Gregory Alan Isakov and Alabama Shakes.

Meanwhile, Ben Howard has been opening up for Bryan on a select number of dates in Europe, while he’ll be joined by Dijon and Fey Fili when he lands in the UK.

Bryan is currently in the midst of his European leg, playing Copenhagen last night (June 3rd), before moving on to Copenhagen on June 6th and Eindhoven on June 9th.

The following week, he’ll play Anfield in Liverpool, ahead of visiting Murrayfield in Edinburgh and two dates at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London, before a series of shows in Ireland.
