Man arrested for serving deposition papers for Taylor Swift at Travis Kelce’s home in Justin Baldoni and Blake Lively case
A man was arrested for trespassing at Travis Kelce’s Kansas home while allegedly attempting to serve Taylor Swift with deposition papers on behalf of Justin Baldoni’s lawyers.
Local outlet, KCTV5, reported that the man, identified later as Justin Lee Fisher, was arrested on September 15th at just after 2am local time. Fisher, who is reportedly a former police officer and now operates as a private investigator, was charged with misdemeanor criminal trespassing. He is expected to appear in Leawood Municipal Court on October 15th.
Baldoni recently suffered a new blow in the case between himself and It Ends With Us co-star Blake Lively; Baldoni wanted to involve Swift in the case as he was adamant she could shed light on Lively’s position.
However, a judge ruled on September 12th that Baldoni’s team had waited for too long to involve the global superstar and would not get a deadline extension to do so. Judge Lewis Liman explained, “Having failed to demonstrate appropriate diligence, the requested extension is denied.”
The pair are entangled in a messy legal battle over Lively’s case, which accuses her It Ends With Us co-star and director Baldoni of sexual harassment and retaliation, and also alleges that an online smear campaign was targeted against her.
Swift’s legal team had already fired back against her deposition. “As counsel for the parties know, since the inception of this matter, we have consistently maintained that my client has no material role in this action,” her lawyer wrote to the judge.
In June, Baldoni’s $400 million defamation lawsuit against Lively was dismissed. A judge threw out Baldoni’s claims against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist for extortion, defamation, and invasion of privacy that the director and actor had made in January.
The court case is set to go to trial in March 2026.
