Mac Miller’s seminal album K.I.D.S. will be given a vinyl release for the very first time as it approaches the 10th anniversary if its 2010 release date.
The news is great for Miller fans who have already been treated to the rapper’s critically acclaimed posthumous album Circles this year and K.I.D.S. making its way from tape and on to streaming sites.
Rostrum Records have announced that the album, fully titled Kickin’ Incredibly Dope Shit, will arrive in record stores on August 14th and has his fans in a spin.
The album is widely considered not only a landmark moment for Miller and his all-too-short career but a change in hip-hop’s styling as the LP announced a new decade of musical evolution.
The record features songs ‘Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza’ and ‘Nikes on My Feet’ which both showcase the bright talent that Miller was.
The special release will be the first time the project has officially appeared on vinyl and comes as two LPs in a “widespine jacket” as well as a 24X24 poster and a “Most Dope silkscreen D-side.”
