Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner announce joint North American tour in 2026

Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner have announced that they are set to embark on a joint tour across North America next year.

The two classic rock bands will head out across the States in a summer tour spanning the course of July and August next year, in what they are calling the Double Trouble Double Vision tour.

They will kick off the run of 19 shows in Atlanta on July 23rd at the Ameris Bank Amphitheatre before completing their run in Rogers, Arkansas, at the AMP Walmart on August 29th.

Speaking of the announcement, Foreigner bassist Jeff Pilson said: “The energy the band has felt knowing we’ll be touring with Skynyrd this coming summer has been electric.”

He continued: “Two bands with plenty of iconic songs, dueling guitars, double trouble and double vision are gonna set each and every stage on fire! No question this will be the go-to event of the summer!”

Additionally, Lynyrd Skynyrd’s Johnny Van Zant added: “I’m excited to share the stage with Foreigner and hear all their amazing hits! I’ve always been a fan, and I believe the audience will love this tour. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner together, it doesn’t get much better than that. See y’all in 2026!”

The news of the tour comes amid a recent changing of the guard for Foreigner, as their original frontman Kelly Hansen retired from the band in October, just shy of their 50th anniversary next year.

As a result, the band’s leading slot on their next tour will be filled by their guitarist, Luis Maldonado.

Tickets for Lynyrd Skynyrd and Foreigner’s Double Trouble Double Vision tour will go on sale from November 21st, with a presale available from November 18th.
