Loyle Carner announces debut LP ‘Yesterday’s Gone’

We have been huge fans of Loyle Carner for a very long time now. His fast rise to fame has been star studded with brilliant tracks, poignant lyrics and a good natured soul. So we are taking an absolutely zero-warranted piece of his success as down to us.

Obviously we are joking, because Carner has always done everything on his own terms and it seems the album has been a similar process. Drafting in some of his Croydon pals to guest on tracks as well as the down to earth style, Carner has created a homespun album fit for the masses. Impressive to say the least.

The album features some of his more well known tracks but mainly bears reflection of Carner’s tremendous work ethic and style. Including the recent “hottest record in the world” ‘Isles of Arran’ and the brilliant ‘Florence’, both show Carner at his triumphant best.

We feel like proud parents. Kind of.

The album is out on 20th January 2017 via AMF with a promo tour following soon after across the UK.
