Lou Reed lyric book reissued with intros from Martin Scorsese and Laurie Anderson
Lou Reed’s iconic book of lyrics is getting a very special reissue and it will include new intros from Martin Scorsese and Laurie Anderson.
The book, which is famously titled I’ll Be Your Mirror in reference to the Velvet Underground’s iconic 1967 album with Nico, will be updated with lyrics taken from Reed’s final album and Metallica collaboration ‘Lulu’.
Reissued by Faber & Faber, the new edition will feature contributions from Laurie Anderson, Martin Scorsese, and James Atlas and is set for release on November 7th.
The book, which will be released as a standard hardback, will also get a very exclusive which will be available in a “reversed colour design printed on high gloss, reflective silver mirror paper, black cloth slipcase, and a facsimile pamphlet of previously unpublished handwritten lyrics from ‘Sally Can’t Dance.’”
Only 250 editions of this version will be made available.
