Lorde brings out Sadie Sink as surprise guest for ‘Green Light’ in London

Lorde brought out her friend, Stranger Things actor Sadie Sink, as a surprise guest when she performed her hit song ‘Green Light’ during her concert at the O2 Arena in London.

The singer, who is currently on the road in the UK as part of her Ultrasound tour, brought out Sink during the encore of the gig on November 16th. Sink has a special connection to the song ‘Green Light’ after it featured in the play John Proctor is the Villain, which she most recently starred in on Broadway.

As the pair jumped up and down to the anthemic tune, they said the moment “meant everything” to them, after Lorde was seen watching Sink in the New York show earlier this year.

Since then, the Virgin singer and the Stranger Things star have struck up a close friendship, with the latter telling Vogue back in June, prior to the release of Lorde’s latest album: “Oh my God, I’m a huge Lorde fan,” before adding, “To follow an artist through her many different eras…she really was that person for me.”

It comes on the cusp of more huge projects for both women, as Sink is set to reprise her role as Max Mayfield for the final time in the culminating series of Stranger Things, the first instalment of which is due to be released on Netflix on November 26th.

Additionally, Lorde has just been announced as a headliner for All Points East Festival 2026, where she will take to the stage on August 22nd. She joins an already stacked line-up, where Tyler, The Creator and Deftones, respectively, are also set to headline the other dates.

After another date at the O2 Arena in London tonight (November 17th), Lorde will next head to Glasgow and Birmingham to end her UK leg of the Ultrasound tour, before then moving on to Dublin, Ireland.
