The wildly popular outdoor film screenings by London’s Rooftop Film Club have unveiled their 2019 summer schedule.

With location confirmed at the Bussey Building in Peckham, Shoreditch’s Queen of Hoxton, and Roof East in Stratford, Rooftop Film Club will begin their screenings from May 1st.

Building on the success they’ve built in recent years, the schedule follows a similar style for the rooftop film club who have again chosen to blend a mixture of new and classic films.

From the new group, you’ll find the likes of Bohemian Rhapsody, A Star Is Born, The Favourite and Mary Poppins Returns who were all heavily represented at the recent Academy Awards. On top of that, Jordan Peele’s new horror comedy US will be screened, as will the box office splash Aquaman.

“Great films deserve great locations, and our venues are set alongside some of the most iconic city backdrops around the world,” the London Rooftop Film Club explains. “With panoramic views and stunning sunsets, movies have never looked so great.”

The classic films included have a little bit for everyone. Where you’ll find the likes of Grease and E.T., you can also get tickets for Bend It Like Beckham, Dirty Dancing, Raging Bull, Clueless, The Lost Boys, Notting Hill, Spice World, Cruel Intentions, Pulp Fiction and more.

“We believe iconic movies and great dialogue deserves to be heard properly,” the film club explains when discussing its audio equipment. “At Bussey Building, Roof East, and Queen of Hoxton we use state-of-the-art wireless headphones so you can live in those memorable cinematic moments, and not get disturbed by the outside world.”
