Liam Gallagher takes a delicate approach with new single ‘Chinatown’

Liam Gallagher has shared ‘Chinatown’, the latest track from his debut solo album As You Were.

Chinatown follows Gallagher’s first lead single ‘Wall Of Glass’, a track the propelled the former Oasis frontman into the daunting world of a debut solo record.

After announcing himself in trademark Liam style before wooing Glastonbury crowds with his own rendition of ‘Don’t Look Back In Anger’ in tribute to the victims of recent tragedies, Gallagher has decided to take a slightly more delicate approach with his new song: “Take me down through the streets of Chinatown/Show me that you know some places,’ he sings on the track.

Listen to ‘Chinatown’, here:

“I didn’t want to be reinventing anything or going off on a space jazz odyssey,” Liam has previously said of the album. “It’s the Lennon Cold Turkey’ vibe, The Stones, the classics. But done my way, now.”
