Liam Gallagher stops ‘Wonderwall’ to have a go at security at Sonorama Festival
Liam Gallagher halted a rendition of ‘Wonderwall’ to have a pop at security during a recent performance at Spain’s Sonorama Ribera Festival.
Gallagher, who was headlining the event on Friday evening, ran through a number of fan favourite tracks which included both his solo material and those of Oasis.
In the blistering heat of central Spain, the frontman refused to deviate what has become his trademark black rain jacket as he and his band opened with a barnstorming rendition of ‘Rock ‘N’ Roll Star’ before rolling into ‘Morning Glory’, ‘For What It’s Worth’ and ‘Supersonic’.
With the crowd worked up into a frenzy, Gallagher began his performance of ‘Wonderwall’ despite being clearly distracted by an incident unfolding in front of him in the crowd. Just moments into the track, Gallagher stops the performance and addresses security directly, telling them the fans are just trying to have fun.
