Footage of Mac Miller recording music from his LA home the night before he died has emerged online.
Miller was found dead at his Los Angeles home after an apparent overdose, a coroner confirmed. He was just 26-years-old.
The rapper shot to fame in 2011 with his debut album but struggled with substance abuse, even openly rapping about his struggles in multiple songs.
“Malcolm McCormick, known and adored by fans as Mac Miller, has tragically passed away at the age of 26,” his family said in a statement. “He was a bright light in this world for his family, friends and fans. Thank you for your prayers. Please respect our privacy. There are no further details as to the cause of his death at this time.
Now, footage streamed by the rapper the night prior to his death has emerged online. Miller, playing the keyboard, is practising new music while streaming live from his Instagram account.
