Larry David reveals his favourite episode of ‘Curb Your Enthusiasm’

Ahead of the 12th and final season of the beloved sitcom, Larry David has named his favourite episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm.

The first episode of the upcoming 12th season of Curb Your Enthusiasm, which sees David play a fictionalised version of himself, is set to air on February 4th. The finale of the series is scheduled to be broadcast on the network on April 7th.

During a red carpet event to premiere the first episode, Variety asked David what his favourite episode would be, to which he said, “probably ‘Palestinian Chicken,’” an episode from the eight season of the long-running HBO sitcom.

Airing in 2011, the episode sees the show discuss the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Marty and Susie take one side of the argument, while Larry and Shara (his new love interest at the time) choose the other.

Elsewhere, David also told the publication that Curb Your Enthusiasm is set to end for good, despite previously making similar commitments, only to walk it back. “Yeah, I said it before, But I wasn’t 76 when I said it,” he remarked.

When it was revealed Curb Your Enthusiasm would be concluding, David said in a statement: “As ‘Curb’ comes to an end, I will now have the opportunity to finally shed this ‘Larry David’ persona and become the person God intended me to be – the thoughtful, kind, caring, considerate human being I was until I got derailed by portraying this malignant character.”

“And so ‘Larry David,’ I bid you farewell. Your misanthropy will not be missed. And for those of you who would like to get in touch with me, you can reach me at Doctors Without Borders,” he added.
