La Luz announce new album and UK tour with new track ‘Don’t Want To Be Anywhere’
Seattle surf-noir band La Luz have unveiled their new track ‘Don’t Wanna Be Anywhere’ alongside planned album news and UK tour dates.
LP Weirdo Shrine, produced by Ty Segall, will be released via Hardly Art records 7th August have bounced back from a brush with death to drown us with their slinky surf guitar and dreamy harmonies.
In 2013 the band survived a high-speed highway collision shortly after releasing their 2013 debut LP It’s Alive, La Luz, despite lasting trauma, returned to touring almost instantly.
Now working with Segall, the man himself claimed Weirdo Shrine gave him a vision of a “world…burning with colours [he’d] never seen, like mauve that is living.”
