Kraftwerk extend first UK tour in nine years
Kraftwerk have announced more dates for their UK and Ireland tour in 2026 due to demand.
Their return to the UK and Ireland will kick off in Dublin on May 17th, with stops to follow in Belfast, Wolverhampton, Manchester, Glasgow, Stockton, Sheffield, Brighton, Bristol, Bournemouth, London, Liverpool, Nottingham and Edinburgh.
Initially, they were due to perform two dates at the Royal Albert Hall on June 4th and June 5th in London. However, this has now been extended to include a third date on June 5th, meaning Kraftwerk will be playing two concerts on the same day, one at 6pm and another at 10pm.
Additionally, Kraftwerk will play a second show in Manchester at the O2 Apollo on May 23rd. They were previously scheduled to perform at the historic theatre on May 22nd.
The run of dates is part of their ongoing Multimedia tour, which has been rolling on since 2012. In 2025, they took to the stage at Coachella as part of the North American leg of the run, which began in Philadelphia on March 5th and concluded in Dallas on April 24th.
For the rest of this year, Kraftwerk are touring mainland Europe. The upcoming run includes an extensive run across their native Germany, and visits to the Netherlands, Latvia, Finland, and more countries on the continent.
Although Kraftwerk haven’t toured the UK since 2017, they did headline a stacked bill at Forever Now in Milton Keynes this summer, which also included sets from Johnny Marr, Billy Idol, The Damned, The The, The Chameleons, Happy Mondays, Public Image Ltd, and The Jesus and Mary Chain.
