Kodak Black apologises for comments made about Nipsey Hussle’s girlfriend Lauren London
American rapper Kodak Black has apologised to Lauren London after calling her a ‘hot widow’ following the death of Nipsey Hussle.
Nipsey, who was murdered less than a week ago in the Hyde Park neighbourhood of South Los Angeles, had been dating London since 2013. The couple also welcomed their first child together in 2016.
Kodak Black, however, took to social media to seemingly state his intentions of chasing London, saying, “I’ll be the best man I can be for her”.
“Lauren London that’s baby, though. She about to be out here single,” Kodak said during an Instagram Live broadcast. “She’s finna be a whole widow out here. I’ll be the best man I can be for her. I’ll give her a whole year. She might need a whole year to be crying and sh*t for him.”
He added: “I ain’t trying to shoot [my shot] at her. I’m saying, listen. She can do two, three years. I’ll try to be like the friend if you need to holla or a shoulder to lean on. She can call my line.”
Black has since apologised to London for his comments after being called out by The Game, T.I.P. and thousands of fans online.
