Rapper Kodak Black is facing two extra weapon charges in Florida which could see him end up in jail for a crippling 60 years. He has been charged with two counts of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
According to reports in the Miami Herald, Kodak, who was sentenced to 46 months in prison after lying about his criminal rap sheet when buying a weapon, it has now been confirmed that the additional charges come with a far heavier sentence. With each new charge carrying a 30-year sentence it has become a far bigger ordeal,
The rapper was arrested in May when he was stopped en route to the Rolling Loud festival. His bond was immediately revoked and he pleaded guilty to the federal charges in August.
Allegedly while attempting to buy a weapon Kodak had lied on the paperwork. He was out on bail from charges of sexual assault which had been levied in South Carolina, three years ago.
The charges for Kodak are seemingly piling up after he was arrested at the U.S./Canada border back in April. The previous year in 2018 he was picked up on charges of child neglect and weapons charges, Those charges may have been dropped but the rapper did do time in the Brown ward County Jail until August 2018 for violating his probation.
