King Krule has shared a 32-minute live performance he filmed as part of Jehnny Beth‘s Echoes series for French television.
The South Londoner who released his latest album Man Alive! in February, was one of a number of names including Idles, Primal Scream and many more who took part in the Savages singer’s show for French station Arte.
Krule performed eight songs during his set which heavily relied on material from his latest record with six of the eight tracks appearing on Man Alive!. The set opened with ‘Perfecto Miserable’ and also featured the likes of ‘A Slide In (New Drugs)’, ‘Underclass’ and ‘The Ooz’.
King Krule whose real name is Archy Marshall, recently announced the postponement of his European and US tour due to the ongoing global pandemic. In a statement shared on Facebook, he wrote: “Everyone who bought a ticket can come to the rescheduled shows below. With the coronavirus’ smothering web of mystery and danger, we cannot gather you as masses.
Adding: “But As a vessel of art, I will provide. And sorry for being in the dark for I left you in the dark and we must shine a light. PS – Integral moral conduct must be equal to survival instinct.”
