Kelsey Grammer says Donald Trump is “maybe the greatest” president of all-time

Kelsey Grammer has heaped praise on Donald Trump, who he believes is “maybe the greatest president” in history.

The Frasier star is a prominent Republican who has been vocal about his support of Trump on many occasions since he entered politics.

Now, in a new interview with Fox News Digital ahead of Trump hosting the Kennedy Centre Honors over the weekend, Grammer, who was in attendance at the ceremony, shared, “I think he’s extraordinary.”

Grammer continued, “He’s one of the greatest presidents we’ve ever had. Maybe the greatest. There are some things he still wants to get done, and I think that’s terrific, but there was a big hill to climb.”

At the Kennedy Centre Honors, Sylvester Stallone, Kiss and Gloria Gaynor were celebrated by Trump, who became the first president in history to host the once-prestigious event.

Grammer revealed he was on the selection committee this year and described Stallone as “a force of nature”, before adding, “Sylvester Stallone has captured our imagination in several different roles and performed them beautifully.”

His latest comments in support of Trump come after earlier this year, while speaking to The Times, when he said, “It’s great to have somebody who actually means what they say.”

Additionally, during an appearance on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme in 2023, host Justin Webb claimed that the interview was cut short by Paramount’s PR due to the topic of conversation landing on Grammer’s support of Trump.

He told listeners, “They decided that we’d had plenty of time for our interview. But I should stress that he was absolutely perfectly happy to talk about why he supports Donald Trump and still does in the coming election.”
