Kasabian announce huge Finsbury Park show and share lead single from new album, ‘Act III’
Kasabian have unveiled details of their biggest London show to date at Finsbury Park next summer, and shared the new single ‘Hippie Sunshine’ from their forthcoming album, Act III.
The huge show in London is set to take place on July 4th, 2026, with support to come from Louis Dunford, Razorlight, The K’s, Miles Kane and Sofy. Tickets are set to go on general sale on September 26th at 9:30am, following an artist pre-sale 24 hours earlier.
To coincide with the announcement, Kasabian have shared a taste of their upcoming ninth studio album with the release of new single, ‘Hippy Sunshine’.
Serge Pizzorno says of the new release, “The track is about the restless energy of hyper individuals who struggle to slow down and face reality, searching instead for the illusion of escape. It captures the fleeting moment where everything feels light and limitless, yet beneath it lies a deep sense of disconnection, something both beautiful and tragic.”
‘Hippie Sunshine’ will appear on Act III, which Kasabian have also announced as the title of their next album; however, there are no further details regarding the release date, cover art or tracklist. The record is expected to arrive before the Finsbury Park show.
Act III will mark their third record with Pizzorno as their frontman, following The Alchemist’s Euphoria in 2022 and Happenings in 2024, which both topped the charts in the United Kingdom.
This summer, the indie veterans returned to the live stage to headline Truck Festival in Oxfordshire and Tramlines in Sheffield. Their last UK tour saw them play a number of arenas with special guests The Streets in late 2024.
