Kanye West wants to soundtrack new ‘Deadpool’ film
Kanye West has hinted that he thinks the new Deadpool 2 film has ripped off his music.
On top of that, West has also suggested that he’d keen to provide his music for the score of future films. The film, directed by David Leitch and starring Ryan Reynolds, already credits Céline Dion who provided the song ‘Ashes’.
Writing on Twitter, Kanye seems to offer a backhanded compliment by saying “I love both Deadpool movies,” he began before adding “I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine… bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool,” in suggestion that the movie ripped off his sound.
Kanye being nice guy Kanye, added: “your guys writing and approach is so innovative, I love how you guys break the 4th wall, thank you for being innovative and please know I’m down to clear next time.”
I love both Deadpool movies?????????… I heard tracks in it that sound similar to mine… bro I would have cleared my music for Deadpool …
However, Kanye shouldn’t hold his breath in the hope of working on a potential Deadpool 3…. because there isn’t going to be one.
“It’s an odd thing to say, but I don’t think there will be a Deadpool 3,” Ryan Reynolds previously said when asking about the future. “I think going forward, it would be an X-Force movie, which would be his team, so to speak.”
“X-Force is much different than, say, Avengers or something,” he continued. “X-Force is generally made up of people who are very morally flexible, they’re the guys who do the work the X-Men wouldn’t, or couldn’t, do. So you’re dealing with this sort of rag-tag group of men and women who, you know, don’t have the strong moral compass that, say, the Avengers do, or X-Men.”
