Kanye West will hold first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina
In the latest episode of 2020: the craziest year of all time, Kanye West has confirmed that he will be holding his first presidential campaign rally in South Carolina for today.
The rapper has put out a message asking fans for ballot votes and now confirmed that his first presidential campaign moment will arrive sooner than expected and see Ye take to the podium.
Naturally, the rapper’s campaign has been a frenzy of activity in the media. Launched on short-notice it appeared as though West’s campaign was over on Wednesday only for the Chicago musician to pull it out of the bag and file his first official paperwork with the Federal Elections Commission.
According to ABC News, the hip-hop impresario announced his first campaign rally at the Exquis Event Center in North Charleston this Sunday at 5pm. The event will include a pre-rally press event.
An accompanying press release said the event is for “registered guests only” and attendees would have to sign up at the new campaign website Kanye2020.country before being given entry.
Ye reached out to fans in the state to put him on the ballot paper and now it seems he is kicking his campaign up a gear. However, it would be unlikely for the musician to appear on the state’s ballot paper.
