The New Zealander has released his new track ‘Oh So You Are Off I See’ via the Dead Oceans label, who is home to Alex Lahey among others, and with this release he has charmed and courted the entire office.
His previous recording felt very DIY, mainly because it was, ‘Blue Cheese’ was recorded in his parent’s house, but this one feels like it has been chunkified and given a bit more clout. The track rings out with a seriously hooky hook, it fuzzes and fizzes and feels entirely fresh.
It’s a blinding track all in all and well worth your time. Take a listen below.
