Justin Baldoni launches website amid Blake Lively legal battle

Justin Baldoni’s team persists in releasing what they believe will be evidence in his ongoing lawsuit against Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds.

The director of It Ends With Us has launched a website that includes what he believes will be relevant evidence. The site contains an amended complaint filed against the A-list couple. Additionally, he has included a “timeline of relevant events,” which includes previously unseen text messages, emails, and other forms of messaging.

His timeline of events also includes messages between himself and the author of It Ends With Us before filming the movie. He also sent messages to Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds before the movie got underway.

One of the messages sees Baldoni reach out to Reynolds in a bid to become friends, which Reynolds seems open to. “You’ve been a wonderful collaborator with B and that means a great deal – to both of us. Being a stand up person is everything and you’ve been just that since day one. Thank you,” wrote Reynolds, later saying, “I happen to adore you, Justin.”

In another exchange, Baldoni sends Lively messages about the dialogue for a rooftop scene in the movie. “If you knew me (in person) longer you’d have a sense of how flirty and yummy the ball busting would play. It’s my love language. Spicy and playfully bold, never with teeth,” he wrote. “And him serving it back to her is just as important. You don’t usually see both the man AND the woman with such agency and humor.”

The website set-up comes shortly after Baldoni’s team released a ten-minute behind-the-scenes clip of Baldoni and Lively slow dancing together for a scene. In response, Lively’s team filed a gag order, accusing Baldoni and his legal team of harassment. They cited “almost daily media statements or other releases to the press.”

Lively and Baldoni both have ongoing lawsuits against one another stemming from Lively’s initial claims of sexual harassment and stating Baldoni helped orchestrate a smear campaign against her.
