Jungle share new single, ‘Someday, Somewhere’, from upcoming album ‘Sunshine’

Jungle continue to soak up the sun with the new release of ‘Someday, Somewhere’, which is taken from their upcoming album Sunshine.

Earlier this year, in March, the trio announced the new album, set for release on August 14th, which will be accompanied by a world arena tour.

The new track is the third single taken from the LP, following up on the success of ‘Carry On’ and ‘The Wave’.  The song, which premiered as Radio 1’s Hottest Record, has arrived alongide a new choreographed music video.

‘Someday, Somewhere’ seamlessly blends sunny rhythms with modern electronic production and Lydia Kitto’s signature warm, soulful vocals.

Jungle said of the track, “Someday, Somewhere is about holding onto that feeling that something better is coming. It’s got that late-summer Jungle optimism, a little bit of longing, a little bit of escape, and hopefully something people can lose themselves in.”

It carries on Jungle’s history of releasing upbeat tracks that take elements from a variety of genres, including soul, funk and hip-hop, alongside videos with expertly curated choreography.

The band formed in London in 2013 as a duo of Tom McFarland and J Lloyd, with Kitto shifting from regular collaborator to official member in 2024, taking on the mantle of lead vocalist.

Their most recent album Volcano, released in 2023, featuring their biggest song to date ‘Back on 74’ and has since been certified platinum in both the UK and US, something they will hope to do again with Sunshine.

Jungle’s world tour in support of the album begins in September, visiting arenas across North America, Europe, Australia and Latin America through to April 2027.

Due to demand, a second show has been added at the O2 Arena in the band’s hometown of London, and a sold-out show in the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado.
